Crop Circles
Well it's that time of year again in the UK when those mysterious circles appear most in fields all over our lovely isles. We have had the soltice and Glastonbury festival is about to swing into gear as the sun shines down merrily on us. So to keep in the hippy spirit of things here are a few links to sites on crop circles. It was many years ago since I last saw one whilst visiting Silbury Hill. The circle formed in the time it took from us to get from the car to the top of the hill and was only clearly visible in the field opposite from this vantage point. It was an odd experience seeing one that hadn't been 'faked' by men with planks of wood in the dead of night. By the time we got down from the hill into the field a few cars had stopped and people where starting to enter the field for a gander at this oddity. From memory it comprised of lots of triangles set inside a circle. The crop stems were bent in half rather than totally flattened.
