Leadership race
So the official runners have been announced and confirmed for the next Conservative leader and therefore by default our next Prime Minister in the UK.

In my view this all stinks of deliberate sabotage of the Brexit negotiations and in house fighting for individuals to make a power grab to the detriment of the country. What makes this situation all the more unpalatable is the simple fact that the public get no say on what will ultimately be the decision as to who runs the country. There should be an automatic general election in my opinion if a PM stands down or for whatever reason can no longer hold the position.
All the runners are now issuing statements of what they will do to try and win voters and therefore win the next general election for the Conservative party. You can guarantee they will follow through with none of these pledges as none of them will make it onto a party manifesto, a document not worth the paper it's written on in any case.
Of the most likely candidates as opposed the making up the numbers types it is a very depressing rogues gallery.

Boris Johnson is just a fecing embarrassment to the whole country but hey in the US they have Donald Trump we can out do them with Boris potentially. Unfortunately as funny as it would be he is a thoroughly morally corrupt individual. Evidence points to his actions before, during and potentially after the Brexit vote and subsequent negotiations with the EU.
Michael Gove. Single handily destroyed the secondary education system in the UK whilst Education Minister. We now have a taught curriculum that is more suited to the 1950's than 21st century thanks to Gove's rose tinted glasses of his secondary education. For those unaware below are all the subjects removed from A level (16-18 qualifications) he decided to dump. We will see the impact in a few years when we have no engineers, struggle to find nurses, no artists, novelists, computer engineers, software designers etc etc. But hey he took cocaine once so that's alright....
