Diplomacy...

Yet again another set of leaked e-mails has caused a storm in a teacup. Sir Kim ( no not the overweight slightly scary Kim) has had a few loads of e-mails leaked forwarded to some mischievous individual who shall for now remain nameless that strangely were always going to end up published.

These e-mails give a frank and honest account of how Sir Kim viewed the current Trump administration over the past couple of years. It was a pretty harsh appraisal but in fairness that's what a diplomat has to do, it's their job!. I imagine the American diplomat to the UK gives a similar, or perhaps even more brutal assessment of the UK government and that would be a frank and honest assessment also.

The difference here is Sir Kim is leaving his post, he really probably doesn't give a fuck mind what people think in the US or UK he just wanted his say to be out there as a final dig. It's dishing the dirt as you walk out the door, lots of folks do it and will do so again.

Undiplomatic and unfortunate that he felt the need to but Trumps response is, well 'Trump like'.

He could almost be talking about himself and the US rather than Sir Kim and the UK...

It reminds me of coming back from a dinner party and texting your friends to say the host was a complete idiot and the staff they hired were at best incompetent at worst deranged retards and then finding out your text got forwarded to the host by your best mate for a laugh. If only you had used Whats App instead of messenger!

Gawd who needs Wikileaks when we have this in our diplomatic services.
