Glad we got that sorted then.... So the anticipated General election has been and gone. It has thrown up the 'surprise' of a large Conservative majority win. I say 'surprise' but all the polls had suggested a Conservative win. The danger with any big majority win by a party means that they get pretty much free reign to do what they like without any opposition within parliament. After the Brexit shambles some may say this is a good thing. I however see it as dangerous government having absolute power. Given that the Conservative manifesto seeks legal reform to stop judicial process coming into play then the criminals in power can get away with it, or am I missing something?. However much folks wanted Brexit to happen I am always reminded of the expression 'Careful what you wish for' as I fear the unintended consequences of our collective actions regarding our own Government rather than stifling and interfering Eu Bureaucrats.
