ooh pretty lights.........

Aurora Alert, tonight we should in the UK get a view of some Aurora, Northern lights as some people know them by. This normally only occurs in Scotland but there has been some quite large solar flares of late and quite a storm going on on the suns surface at the minute.

I love these things but havn't seen any since a child living in N.Ireland. I live to far south these days. Anyway hopefully the sky will not be grey and overcast like it normally is whenever there is something I want to see in the sky at night. This morning though it is really gloomy and damp over Nottingham so things are not looking to good as yet.
