Alien Resistance
Saw this article today which made me chortle regarding a new book published detailing 'how to defend against an alien invasion'
Yes admittedly it is virtually impossible to discount the existence of 'Alien' life on other planets , and yes possibly they visit earth or will do in the future. We do seem to expect Aliens to act in a very 'Human like' way though a bit like the conquistadors in Southern Americas or perhaps Genghis Khan , personally I feel the Roman model might be more likely or a 'Star Wars' type empire.
Either which way it is funny how the conclusion is the most effective form of resistance to invasion maybe an insurgency type defence. Is this because the book has been written by Americans who are realising that people don't like being invaded by large heavily armed military machines and having their country/planet (delete as applicable) taken over in the name of 'democracy'.
