Gary McKinnon update
Some time ago I wrote on this site about the UK hacker who was fighting extradition to America accused of 'trying to bring down the whole US military'. My interest was piqued by Gary's statement that he had found files detailing 'non-terrestrial' personnel suggesting possible secret US space programs 'little green men' and 'UFO's'
Unfortunately the new UK extradition laws have come into force and Gary is in all likelihood going to face trial in the US when he should be on trial here as this is where he committed the crime. I believe the House of Lords may hear his case of appeal so fingers crossed he doesn't get hung drawn and quartered over in the US. I hear 60 year sentences and even the death penalty where being muted but really the US owes this guy a debt of gratitude. He hasn't divulged all their secrets and has highlighted the ease of getting into their systems so in reality they can make things more secure and where in no real danger of having their system crash nationwide.
'Scapegoat' for someone else's failing on security springs to mind in this case.
