DVD internet censorship rebellion
This article is so sweet. Many of you may be aware of the 'DIG' website a news forum where users can 'dig' an article by voting and the more votes an article gets the higher up the rankings it goes showing what is the 'hot' news of the day.
Now a blog site happened to post an article regarding the copy protection on the new DVD HD formats and the key crack to allowing copying of these DVDs. This appeared on dig and became very popular. A little too popular so the manufacturers issued a 'cease and desist' to all blogs and sites posting this information threatening legal action.

I have utmost respect now for the dig founders and community of users to rebel and retaliate to this threatening action and stop the bully boy censorship being enforced. The Internet community has just shown two fingers to the corporations and if this can happen so quickly on this issue with so many thousands involved just what might happen if people rallied to something that was even more worthwhile for a corporation to 'hide'....
