'Green' Pipes

A recent article here:- http://physorg.com/news110036505.html regarding two British scientists and their unique concept to combat global warming seems very promising. Like all good inventions simple, effective and relatively cheap to mass produce.

Coincidentally I am growing algae at the minute as a growth medium for water fleas. Seems to work the best to keep the little critters happy and breeding.

I do think though that these pipes are going to annoy surfers, fishermen and perhaps look a little unsightly but then big algae blankets covering the ocean isn't going to look too pretty either. But I'd rather not have a scorched earth or nuclear power stations everywhere so lets hope it gets given the 'green' light. May have to buy shares in Virgin, aluminium pipe manufacturers and oceanic construction companies now..... It's going to take a lot of pipes.
