The power to read peoples thoughts would be quite cool but very alarming if this technology was out there. Lets face it the one piece of humanity and individuality that is unique and personal are our thoughts. If you can't keep your thoughts to yourself this could be opening a whole host of social problems.

I can picture it now, all diplomatic relations break down globally as it transpires that Tony Blair thinks George Bush is a plonker and secretly admires Kim Jung Sung or whatever his N Koreaness is called etc....

Families are torn apart as wives realise there husbands never really loved them or visa versa.

Well time to break out the tinfoil hats and duck for cover, but then I have nothing to fear, it's not as if I've been planning world domination via the Internet or anything.....
